Construction progresses at Asian Village on East Riverfront

Construction progresses at Asian Village and the complex’s four businesses should be open at the beginning of 2007, according to James Snider, the development’s chief operating officer.

Asian Village is to consist of the following components:
  • Asian House, an asian fusion restaurant, bar and lounge;
  • Asian Marketplace, a casual dining opportunity coupled with retail including gift items and limited specialty produce;
  • Kawaiian Café, a Polynesian coffee and tea house; and
  • an upscale sushi bar.
Asian Village will also be available for banquets and events, with the potential for all four components to be “tied in together,” as Snider describes.

The project designer is Nick Giammarco of Cubellis Marco, the architect is BVH Architecture and the interiors are by Dominic Pangborn, who has been involved with Asian Village every step of the way.
