Midtown favorite Twingo’s reopens

Twingo’s on Cass in Midtown re-opened its doors Jan. 5 with new ownership and a stylish makeover. Owners John Lopez (Union Street, Agave and Atlas) and executive chef Shawn Mac (boocoo, Forte, Emily’s, Chimayo) have come together to create a hip, slightly upscale, European café ambiance with a new menu that includes culinary trends and traditions from Italy, Spain and France.

In the early mornings, patrons can expect an urban coffee house experience with a wide array of coffees, teas and breakfast items for eat-in or takeout. Lunch and dinner will feature European classics with Mac’s fusing of fresh ingredients and culinary experience.

Twingo’s will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 a.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Saturdays, with a Sunday brunch starting in mid January.
