The Gateway Marketplace at Woodward and 8 Mile Road comprises 36 acres of land with over 325,000 square feet of retail space, including the first Meijer to open in Detroit city limits. It has created 900 new jobs with more than 118,000 people passing the site daily. It is the largest retail development in Detroit's history.
