Harmonie's Park's stretch of E. Grand River gained another shop when
DSE @ Grand opened its doors on May 23.
The shop specializes in designer T-shirts, including brands not currently available anywhere else in Michigan, like
Exact Science from San Fransisco, Enstrumental from Chicago, Kallusive from Los
Angeles and Destroy from Portland. Local brands include DSE Lifestyle and
AYV Clothing.
Owner James Morris characterizes the shop as a "New York-style closet boutique." He chose his location because of its visibility and the neighborhood's walkability.
DSE also sells sunglasses, but as time passes Morris hopes to expand his accessories selection to include hats and purses.
The shop is located at 202 E. Grand River. Call 313-963-0533. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
