The Buzz Bar opened recently at 546 E. Larned in Greektown.
The
3,500-square-foot space has two levels and three bars: one for coffee
drinks, one specializing in martinis and a third offering drinks of all
kinds, including several brews from Detroit beer houses. A
pizzeria-style menu will feature items such as gourmet grilled cheese
and hot dogs.
The bar will offer DJs and live music, says Glenn Novak, owner of Buzz Bar and former owner of Music Menu.
After its grand opening Jan. 29, the bar will be open for coffee at
7 a.m. and stay open until 2 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, and until 4
a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays for the after-bar crowd.
