Healthcare remains a demanding and growing field and Michigan is prepared to employ qualified individuals who have a passion to physically care for others.
MiVirtualCareerFair: Healthcare is a live virtual career fair that will provide an interactive online platform to review and recruit skilled healthcare professionals. The career fair will be on Thursday, May 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“One of the fastest growing sectors of Michigan is healthcare,” said Amy Cell, Senior Vice President for Talent Enhancement at the
Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC). MiVirtualCareerFair will allow busy healthcare professionals to explore one-on-one with employers, all without leaving their home or office.”
This virtual career fair comes after a December 2011 online talent search effort that brought together thousands of jobs, and resources for employers seeking talent. MEDC held a virtual career fair on February 15 for IT and high tech talent. The fair brought together 19 employers and more than 1,500 job seekers in an interactive, virtual environment.
MiVirtualCareerFair: Healthcare will offer the opportunity to connect and interact with recruiters and candidates from wherever you are, upload and submit resumes for multiple job listings, view informational videos in the auditorium, and meet other job seekers and employers in the Networking Lounge. All job openings posted during the fair will be accessible to participants for 30 days after the live event.
“Michigan hospitals, rehab facilities, physician’s offices- the entire range of healthcare employers- have an urgent need for top talent,” said Cell. “We’re implementing innovative strategies make sure Michigan’s healthcare employers can find the talented professionals they need to thrive now and into the future…”
