An 1,800-square-foot Papa Romano's/Mr. Pita opened on Monroe on the ground floor of the Compuware Building. The two chains merged in 2007, but this is the first co-branded store for the outfit.
Both brands will offer a full menu in the shared space: rolled
pita sandwiches,
pizza, subs, chicken, pasta, salads and ribs.
The restaurant offers dine-in, carry-out, delivery, catering and online ordering at

www.paparomanos.com. Next up: bike delivery service.
The franchisee for the restaurant is Compuware chairman and CEO Peter Karmanos.
The restaurant is open weekdays 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
