Mark your calendars: The second annual
Colin Hubbell Fund fundraising event is set for March 28 at the
Majestic Theatre Center. The fund -- and thus the event -- works to seed small businesses and community organizations, primarily in the Midtown area. Last year, it funded signage for Leopold's Bookstore and Good Girls Go To Paris Creperie,
among others.
The event will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Bowling, music, a silent auction and pizza were all on the menu last year. For more information, or to become an event sponsor, contact Trish Hubbell at 313-729-6109; the fund is administered by the
