Detroit's crepe cravers will be pleased when
Good Girls Go to Paris Crepes adds a second location in Midtown in the
Park Shelton, the renovated condo building on Woodward next to the DIA.
"I looked at several places around Wayne State," says owner Torya Blanchard, who opened her first creperie last year downtown on John R near Woodward. "But the Park Shelton had Woodward frontage and it's right next to the DIA."
The creperie will be located where there is now a beauty parlor, which will be relocated within the building. Unlike the downtown location, the new Good Girls will offer dine-in with crepes, ice cream, fresh juice, coffee and ..."That's it!" says Blanchard. And, oh yes, there will be wi-fi.
Blanchard is bullish on the Park Shelton's location and reasonable leasing rates. She hopes other entrepreneurs join her there, and she says that an independent book store is a possibility.
Blanchard plans to be open by early April. Read more about her and the downtown Good Girls location
