Nine units of condos under development on Mack at the northern edge of Brush Park

Two mansions on Mack, east of John R, are being restored as part of a development dubbed The Mack @ Brush Park. One of the two mansions is currently under construction, work on the other will begin later this year, and nine units of townhouses will be built on the vacant lot just east of the two structures.

The first, 248 Mack Ave., has four units which will be completed this spring. They are one or two bedrooms and are priced from $99,900 for 700 square feet to $179,900 for 1300 square feet.

Next up: 240 Mack Ave., with five units that range from one- to three-bedroom and from 800 to 1,600 square feet. Prices are set from $114,900 to $225,900. Construction is expected to start this summer and wrap up next spring.

The new construction located at 262 Mack Ave. will have nine one- and two-bedroom units priced at $159,900 for 850 square feet and $169,900 for 920. Construction is expected to start this summer and be completed by spring 2010.

Units in all three buildings will boast hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, ceramic-tiled bathrooms, granite countertops and a one-or two-car garage, all included in the base price. Project developer -- a team comprised of Brush Park Development Corp., Majestic Ventures LLC and Endeavor Real Estate Development -- will guarantee buyers that if the base prices of similar units in the development are reduced, the difference will be refunded to the homeowner.
