VIDEO: Treating mental health in Michigan's kids and teens

Just like a broken arm, a cold, or flu, mental health disorders are medical conditions that can, and should, be treated. Help is especially important for kids and teens, so they can have every opportunity to grow into adulthood with good mental health. But a relatively low percentage of mental health conditions in kids and teens are identified and treated in a timely manner.

Our video addresses the challenges of mental health in kids and teens, and why early identification and treatment are so important to treating it.

This video is part of "Children of Michigan," a series on the importance of health and wellbeing for Michigan's children. It is made possible with funding from the Children's Hospital of Michigan Foundation.
