Detroit's Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. a band to watch at NYC's influential CMJ Festival

The College Music Journal (CMJ) Music Marathon is billed as the East Coast answer to Austin's South By Southwest. Music insiders know the Big Apple's CMJ festival has an uncanny talent for spotlighting indie music's Next Big Things (Kid Sister, No Age, Sleigh Bells, Bon Iver, Deer Tick, the Black Kids and Janelle Monae all played CMJ before making it big).

A new feature in SPIN Magazine lists the 30 best CMJ acts for 2010 -- and Detroit's own Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. makes the list.
