Two-time Academy Award winner Hilary Swank's latest project, "Betty
Anne Waters," set up shop on Wednesday at the Wayne County Building in
downtown Detroit.
The film tells the true-life tale of Waters,
a high-school dropout and single mother of two who puts herself through
law school in order to free her brother Kenny, from jail after he is
wrongly convicted of murder. Co-starring in the film are Sam Rockwell,
who plays Kenny Walters, Minnie Driver, Juliette Lewis, Peter Gallagher
and 2008 Academy Award nominee Melissa Leo ("Frozen River").
