6) Clever Reuses: Let's say the city decides to tear down one of the many crumbling, Vaudeville-era theaters turned movie houses in the historic Grand Circus Park theater district. Now let's say you're an enterprising young film buff and, in advance of this destruction, you secret (i.e., steal) the 35mm projector out of the theater, get a permit from the city to repurpose the auditorium of an abandoned elementary school, convince the studios to send you lame, first-run prints (as well as delightful, older, local-interest films like Robocop) and allow the public to attend, with booze. You'd be the Burton Theater, and I would love you.
