From Shakespeare to Ibsen to Neil Simon: All the greats come here. The Hilberry Repertory Theatre is the nation’s only true graduate rotating repertory theatre. The company of 50 talented professionals attends classes at Wayne State University in the morning, prepares for productions during the afternoon and performs for the public at night and on weekends. As Michigan’s most-attended producing theatre, the Hilberry draws subscribers from not only Detroit and surrounding counties, but from as far away as Ohio and Canada.
