Live 6

Join us for the next installment of Speakeasy: a community dialogue on safety

On Friday, January 20, Model D is once again teaming up with the Live6 Alliance for the third installment of the speaker series, Speakeasy. This edition will focus on safety, an issue of great importance to the Live6 neighborhoods.

Fairly or not, the area has a reputation for being dangerous. This perception has and will continue to impact growth of the local economy and two universities. This event will seek answers to some pressing questions about safety. How can the Live6 area improve its reputation? How can police better work with the community? How can the universities and their security personnel contribute?

The night will begin with a presentation, followed by a panel discussion of safety experts moderated by Live6 Alliance acting director Lauren Hood.

Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.
