Among the new attractions are the exhibits “New to the Collection” and
“Treasures from the Collection,” featuring historic items not usually
displayed. New, too, are the exhibits “Fabulous Five: Detroit’s Music
Legends” and “Digital Dress: Women About Town.” Two mini exhibits,
“Detroit Then & Now” and “Automotive Showplace,” occupy spaces
freed during the museum makeover.
