Being counted is absolutely essential for making your voice heard. But often, our communities of color, those with low incomes and immigrant populations are undercounted.
In this solutions-based listening session, we'll learn about how several Metro Detroit organizations are working on SOLUTIONS for improving access to democracy by encouraging, facilitating civic participation in underserved communities, and making sure everyone is counted in the 2020 census. We'll also ask for your ideas on what obstacles these groups face and how we, as a community, can support them.
