Planet Ant has been referred to as the funkiest professional theatre in metro Detroit. It all started out in 1993 as a coffeehouse with art, music and poetry readings, and then a theatrical space. Dozens of plays later Planet Ant has come a long way.
While the theatre is nonprofit it also strives to appeal to audiences that might not typically come to live theatre. Admission is $15 ($10 for students with ID).
