The long-empty ground floor retail space attached to the Detroit Opera House parking garage is about to become occupied.
Grand Rapids-based Lambert, Edwards & Associates is opening up its new Detroit office at the office space on Madison Street across the boulevard from the downtown Detroit
Boll YMCA.
"We looked at a lot of space and this one just jumped out," says Neil Devries, senior associate with
Lambert, Edwards & Associates. "It's in the middle of a lot of things we want to be close by."
The new office will move dozen public relations and marketing professionals there when the build out is complete and another three more people soon after. Devries expects the Detroit office to continue to grow along with the 40-person company's offices in Grand Rapids and Lansing.
"Detroit is really where it's at," Devries says. "We want to be a part of the movement that is moving forward."
