Detroit Central City Community Mental Health, Inc. (DCC) is renovating the long-vacant Charlotte Apartments at 644 Charlotte in Midtown, which will serve as housing for veterans, homeless, and people with disabilities. The renovation of this 1920 building will create 27 one-bedroom apartments with a community areas. It will cost $6.1 million and is expected to be completed in 2014.
