UIX+ArtXDetroit: The Art of Neighborhood Innovation

Last spring we gathered in Sugar Hill Arts District to launch the Urban Innovation Exchange (UIX), a network of Detroit innovators. One year later, we return to Sugar Hill to celebrate UIX’s first anniversary with an evening dedicated to creative placemaking and neighborhood innovation.
Join us this Friday, April 12, 5:30 p.m at MOCAD for a conversation with local placemakers transforming their neighborhoods through art & design. Learn how they got started, what lessons they’ve learned along the way, and what opportunities and resources are available for Detroit artists looking to create meaningful impact in their communities.
