Save the Dates: Eastern Market Tour and Next Speaker Series
Get to know the Eastern Market neighborhood with Model D and Inside Detroit. The May 18 tour will take you inside the restaurants, shops, residential developments and, of course, the market.
Model D is teaming up with Inside Detroit to offer a tour of the Eastern Market neighborhood. That’s right — there’s more to the venerable market than the glorious offerings of Saturday morning. There’s nightlife, great dining, cool places to live and a burgeoning creative culture.
See for yourself on this walking tour guided by Inside Detroit. Participants will see Eastern Market from an Insider’s perspective as
we explore the history, new development and entertainment options that
this fast growing neighborhood has to offer.
The cost is $5 for the tour, which will last from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. The tour will start at Rocky Peanut Co. at 2849 Russell St.
