Join us for April's Speaker Series: Eating Green, from Garden to Grocery

Sign up for Model D's April Speaker Series, where we'll discuss opening green businesses in Detroit. We're teaming up with Open City for another great event this month.

The topic will be "Eating Green, from Garden to Grocery," and the event will feature a panel of Detroit retailers and program coordinators to discuss viable green foodie businesses in the city. Panelists include Dan Carmody of the Eastern Market Development Corp., Greg Willerer of Brother Nature, Matt Naimi of Recycle Here, Michael Solaka of Ye Olde Butcher Shoppe and Paul Kado of Sunflower Market.

The speaker series will be from 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Cliff Bell's, 2030 Park Ave. in Detroit. The event is free but we ask that you sign up in advance.

The Model D Speaker Series is sponsored by the Michigan State Housing Development Authority, Henry Ford Health Systems, Wayne State University and the Detroit Medical Center. Open City is a forum for aspiring business owners.
