Model D TV: Happy Trails in Detroit
The Dequindre Cut is super cool, and it’s just one piece of a whole system of trails, greenways and nonmotorized paths planned in the city. Model D TV talks with one of the people behind the plan, Todd Scott of the Michigan Trails and Greenways Alliance.
Todd Scott of the Michigan Trials and Greenways Alliance laid out plans for trails and greenways around the city at the Model D speaker series last week. Model D TV producer/director Tom Hendrickson meets with Todd to show off the newest greenway — the Dequindre Cut trail — and talk about how all of these paths will be linked together by bike lanes and nonmotorized paths.
