Dime Building (Chrysler House)

The Dime Building went through a $40 million renovation in 2003 by then-owner Waad Nadhir; it was then purchased for $15 million by Dan Gilbert in 2011. It is now up to 92-percent occupancy. Gilbert has re-christened this historic building "Chrysler House" after signing a lease creating a satellite office for 70 Chrysler employees. The building is also home to the corporate headquarters of the Professional Group, a provider of maintenance services to commercial buildings. Bedrock Real Estate is working to bring more retail to the building's ground floor.
