Cole's Castle Learning Center of Performing Arts combines a ton of diverse children's programs under one roof -- from modeling to etiquette classes, karate to basketball, sign language to Spanish, choir to dance, internships and counseling.
The 4,000-square feet center has been located on E. Warren since 2005, two years after owner Catrina Lewis-Hurst started a child care business in her home. Cole's works with children from the age of six weeks to fourteen years. Once they graduate, internships and employment become options for teens. "I never get rid of children, I keep them until they're grown," she says. "I know what they are doing even after they leave me."
Lewis-Hurst calls East English Village a "great neighborhood" and says she has no plans to move her operation. "If anything, just expanding," she says.
