Edible Arrangements will open its first Detroit location in the GM Renaissance Center on February 5. It is the 22nd Edible Arrangements
location in the state.
Edible Arrangements offers fresh fruit bouquets for special occasions that typically merit a bouquet -- from birthdays and anniversaries to business events and client gifts.
Each arrangement is made fresh with premium fruit and can be arranged in a variety of
displays.
Owner James Hayes first encountered an Edible Arrangements when he got stuck in California during the blackout of 2003. He sent his wife an arrangement because he had to miss her birthday party. It was a hit, which led to him looking into a franchise opportunity. He focused on a downtown Detroit location because of the "traffic."

Hours of operation for Edible
Arrangements in the Ren Cen are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and
Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
