Midtown gains a Good Girl: second creperie location opening for business

Crepe-o-philes will soon be able to sate their cravings in Midtown when Good Girls Go to Paris Crepes opens its second location this week. With seating for approximately 45, the Park Shelton restaurant will increase owner Torya Blanchard's capacity substantially from her original Downtown walk-up location.

For now, Blanchard will simply continue serving the crepes with which she has made her name, along with coffee. She has plans to add fresh-squeezed juice and ice cream in the future. The space is equipped with wi-fi access and is decorated with several vintage film posters from Blanchard's extensive collection.

Blanchard, while still loving her John R space, is excited to branch out into Midtown. "I went to Wayne State, and think that there can never be enough places in this area to grab a quick bite to eat," she says.

Good Girls is open at 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 7 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday. It is located on Woodward Ave. just north of Kirby. Call 877-PARIS-CREPES.
