Natural foods market Good Wells is open for business in the Willis retail strip next to Avalon Bakery. The 800-square-foot grocery store specializes in organic fruits and vegetables and natural food products as well as pre-made vegan and vegetarian pocket sandwiches and baked goods.
Operations manager James Woods is concentrating on the community by taking requests for the products customers would like to see stocked, especially organic produce. “We’re trying to serve the community here,” says Woods.
Good Wells, which opened Friday, July 14, will be adding a small, frozen foods section and will also begin offering catering services for smaller parties and events up to 25 people.
Good Wells is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. It is located just west of Cass on the north side of Willis.
