- The space vacated by Paris Cafe is now occupied by Hobo's Famous Ribs and Seafood. The menu features salads, a range of sides, burgers, sandwiches, ribs and shrimp. Dine-in, take-out and delivery is available. Hours are Sunday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to midnight. Call 313-394-0500.
- Simply Fashions has also opened, selling womenswear in a wide range of sizes. Hours are Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday noon to 5 p.m. Call 313-656-2250.
- Intus Night Club is in the process of evolving into the Omni Room.
- Downtown Foodland is offering special savings: $10 off $100 worth of groceries and $5 off $50 worth. Call 877-300-5360.
