The Mayor's Office of Neighborhood Commercial Revitalization (ONCR) has selected four commercial districts to receive designation as ONCR ReFresh Detroit! districts.
The districts include:
• Southwest Detroit Business Association (W. Vernor Hwy. at Springwells between Clark and Patton parks)
• Nortown Community Development Corporation (East 8 Mile to I-94, Mound-Van Dyke)
• Eight Mile Boulevard Association (8 Mile Rd. between John R. and Ryan)
• Eastside Land Assembly, Inc. (Mack Avenue, Conner to Somerset)
ReFresh Detroit! districts will receive $35,000 for architectural design, façade matching grants and administrative support. ReFresh Detroit! districts will be responsible for forming a volunteer design committee, marketing the façade program to local merchants and local administration of the program.
