Round-up: Leopold's and Good Girls open house...plus Holbrook Market opens

Yeah, yeah, yeah...we told you recently that Good Girls Go to Paris Crepes opened a second creperie in Midtown. And we talked about the plans of Greg Lenhoff to open Leopold's Books in the same building, the Park Shelton on Woodward at Kirby.

Well, bear with the repeating, because they are jointly hosting a grand opening party now that they are both really, truly officially open. So head over on September 4 between 6 p.m. and midnight to enjoy crepes and books and assorted other goodness.

On regular days, Good Girls is open at 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 7 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday. Call 877-PARIS-CREPES.

Need reading material rather than food? Leopold's is open six days a week at 9 a.m. and closes at 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and at 5 p.m. on Sunday. Call 313-875-4677.

Meanwhile, over in Hamtown, a new market has opened its doors. Holbrook Market sits on the site of the former Holbrook Cafe. The market's hours are 7 a.m. to midnight Monday through Saturday and 8 a.m. to midnight on Sunday. Read more about the development here.
