Featuring foods from Italy, Spain and France, this European-style café, will be located in on Wayne State University’s campus in Midtown. Chef Shawn Mac, a former executive Chef of BooCoo will be Head Chef at Twingo's Euro Café. The owner, John Lopez envisions it being remodeled and reopened by September of this year.
Lopez, a part-owner of Atlas Global Bistro in the heart of Downtown, is also involved with the Mercury Bar in Corktown.
Open from 6am to 10pm for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, “this place will have a coffee house atmosphere with a European sensibility” said Lopez.
