Comerica opts to keep its headquarters downtown

"Comerica Bank, one of Detroit's largest employers, will maintain its downtown headquarters through early 2012 after completing a five-year lease extension last week at One Detroit Center, where it has 1,000 workers," reports The Detroit News.

With a major employer like Comerica Bank deciding to stay in Detroit, it could only be a matter of time before more businesses start to see the benefits of having a downtown office, and start to move in.
