
Midtown residents who find Sundays and Mondays just a bit more difficult without their daily Avalon fix have cause for celebration, as the bakery has announced it will now be open Sundays from 7 am – 3 pm.
The decision to open the bakery on Sundays had much to do with further growing its business, which has topped $1.3 million per year while continuing to maintain its hand-crafted standards and commitment to organic ingredients.
Upcoming Sundays include several special events. On Feb. 18, Avalon will serve up a love-themed brunch in acknowledgment of Valentine’s Day. Feb. 25’s brunch will honor co-owner Ann Perrault’s mother, whose line of homemade pies will begin selling on March 1. New Avalon pastry chef Jeff Tatum will debut his cake and torte line on March 18.
