Mezzanine opens its doors in downtown Detroit, design-o-philes stampede

Mezzanine, a high-end modern furniture and home accessories store, opened its downtown doors on April 27. The store is located on the second floor of the Merchants Building at 206 E. Grand River in Harmonie Park.

Mezzanine was located in downtown Ann Arbor from 1998 until 2005, at which time owner Joe Posch operated the store entirely on-line while he prepared to relocate downtown. Of again operating an actual storefront, Posch says, "It feels good to be back doing what I like doing."
