The University Cultural Center Association (UCCA), in association with Wayne State University and Detroit Renaissance, has published a housing guide entitled "Midtown Living...Detroit Style."
The guides feature twelve for-sale housing developments including both rehab and new construction and traditional floorplans as well as lofts. Projects high-lighted include
55 W. Canfield (pictured),
Crystal Lofts,
Historic East Ferry District,
Moorie Townhouse Estates,
Springfield Lofts and
The Park Shelton along with six other projects. Each of the developments has NEZ designation and the developers are offering special pricing incentives through the housing guide.
15,000 of the guides were printed, with the goal of "providing information on for-sale housing products in Midtown to the greater Wayne State family," explains Susan Mosey, UCCA president. The handsome 52-page glossy will be mailed to Wayne State faculty and staff as well as to university recruiters, media and graduate students in the fields of law, medicine and pharmacy.
Throughout the year, UCCA will host a series of receptions targeting each of these groups as another aspect of their campaign. Next spring, they will undertake an evaluation process with the featured housing developers and, if deemed successful, will begin to target other audiences such as the Detroit Medical Center and College for Creative Studies.
Copies of the guide are available by calling UCCA at 313.577.5088 or a copy can be downloaded at their
website.
