Model D TV: D Show

Graphic artists, designers, producers, advertisers and other Detroit creatives gathered a few weeks ago to celebrate local innovation. Model D TV recaps their first ever D Show.

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

The D Show was created to bring more attention to and honor the work of Detroit graphic artists, designers, producers, advertisers and other creative types.

The first D Show event, held a few weeks ago at the Max M. Fisher Music Center in Midtown, was a celebration of the creative work that flows out of this city. (Read more about it from Bill Ludwig of Campbell-Ewald and the D Council here.)

Model D TV director/producer Tom Hendrickson gives us a look back at the big night.

The music is provided by Detroit’s own The Hard Lessons. Check them out here, where you can also buy their new EP, “B&G Sides v. 1.”
