Model D TV: Upmarket urban residential

Commerce is stirring up and down Detroit's main street. Buzz is building for mass transit that's coming fast. Activity downtown, in the Detroit Medical Center and around Wayne State University and the Cultural Center, has not reached this level of anticipation and excitement for decades. There is a clear sense of "it" happening in the Woodward Corridor: "it" being a combination of corporate investment, community engagement, increasing lifestyle choices, and people looking for places to work and live.

In this episode of Model D TV, videographer Tom Hendrickson goes in search of who is selling residential properties, who is potentially buying and how it will impact the spine of the city. The market is moving. The direction is up. Check it out and let us know what you think.
