University Commons - Palmer Park

University of DetroitThe University Commons-Palmer Park district is located in northwest Detroit, in an area bounded by the Lodge Freeway to the south, Wyoming to the west, Eight Mile to the north and Lawton to the east.  

The area is home to some of Detroit’s premier neighborhoods, including Palmer Woods, Sherwood Forrest, University District and Green Acres. It also boasts established Detroit institutions like Palmer Park, University of Detroit Mercy, Detroit Golf Club and Marygrove College. Plus, there are great nightlife options (Bakers Keyboard lounge, LaDolce Vita, Menjo’s) and the historic Avenue Of Fashion. With so much to explore, University Commons is a dynamic place to live, work and play.
