TVS Communication Solutions moves to downtown Detroit

TVS Communication Solutions is moving from Troy to downtown Detroit, taking up office space above the Detroit Beer Company and Cobo Center.

The visual communications agency will bring its 27 employees with it downtown. There it will join its sister company, LearnCom, an e-learning and employee education services firm. And it will also become the latest addition to the Motor City’s emerging Creative Corridor, a hub of the creatively inclined companies.

"The Creative Corridor made it attractive to be in downtown so we can be next to these creative companies," says Rick Ghersi, CEO of TVS Communication Solutions.

The 22-year-old company provides services, such as HD remote and studio video services, including creative graphics and animation, to international webcasting and complete live broadcasting and events support. TVS Communication Solutions will occupy the upper three floors of the Hartz building, occupying 10,500 square feet of office space.

TVS Communication Solutions will have its lobby and administrative offices on the fifth floor, its creative studio dedicated on the fourth floor and a client lounge and meeting area on the third floor. Seventy7 Productions, a production company will also share its space with TVS Communication Solutions. The Detroit Beer Company will continue to occupy the first two floors of the building.

TVS Communication Solutions is also opening up a full production studio in the recently renovated Cobo Center. The company will occupy 5,000 square feet of space in Cobo Center.

"We do a lot of work at Cobo with the North American International Auto Show and the management of Cobo," Ghersi says.
