Finally, work is winding down at the Mercury Coffee Bar on Michigan Avenue in Corktown.
We couldn't wait to get inside to see the refurbished building, so we take you inside with with Model D

Tom Hendrickson. He talks with head barista Daisuke Hughes about the shop, which will offer coffee,
tea, pastries, salads and paninis at the corner of Michigan and 14th St.
Todd Wickstrom, who co-founded
Heritage Foods USA
after spending four years as a managing partner of Zingerman's Deli in
Ann Arbor, is owner of the shop and says it should be open in a couple weeks.
