OK, we admit it: we simply can't get enough of Avalon International Breads. Not to mention the cherry cream cheese brioche. Or the peanut butter brownies or any of the cookies. Photographer Marvin Shaouni takes the snaps that look good enough to eat.

When Marvin Shaouni went out to Midtown’s Avalon International Breads earlier this month to shoot our Green City Diaries piece it was inevitable that he would come away with more delicious photos than we could squeeze into a feature.

The “good food, good people, good place” vibes emanating from that spot on W. Willis are so rich with illustrative possibilities that we couldn’t resist going back for another taste. All right, enough of the yummy expletives: let’s just dig into what looks like an instant classic slideshow focusing on a one-of-kind business. Enjoy.
