Troy-based Cambridge Consulting Group, a company specializing in insurance and finance consulting, is opening an office in the 1 Woodward Building at the corner of Woodward and Jefferson avenues.
"There is an incredible energy downtown," says Dan Cornwell, president of
Cambridge Consulting Group. "The best way to continue that is to do something like this."
The office will house a rotation of three to four people who are servicing the company's clients downtown. The office is expected to be done and open before the end of the year.
Cambridge Consulting Group is an insurance and financial services consulting firm. It specializes in benefits consulting, risk management, qualified plans and wealth strategies. The 28-year-old company has a staff of 57 employees and five summer interns. It is currently hosting an intern from
Detroit Cristo Rey High School.
